Supply Chain Masters Programs
Supply Chain Masters Programs is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to tackle the toughest process challenges in Supply Chain Management. The field draws heavily from the areas of operations management, logistics, procurement, and information technology and strives for an integrated approach. The program focuses on effective managing of systems, information, and resources that involve moving of services or products the suppliers to the clients. The main focus of the program is on industrial marketing, logistics, managing operations, and purchasing. The courses provided in the program cover understanding of market needs, planning methods, controlling flows, planning, analytical, and organizational skills, and implementation of new logistical approaches. The curriculum is designed to be in three main structures which are organized in intensive weekly modules. Most of the coursework theory is done in the morning while afternoons are devoted to practices and workshops. The program also includes conferences and company visits. This helps the student to have a real interaction with what to expect at the workplace. The program majorly comprises of three phases. The first part involves introducing the programme. At this phase, the student gets to know about strategic purchasing, management sciences and industrial organization. Some of the supply chain master’s programs also give students an opportunity to tailor their curricula to meet their individual academic goals.
