CangarooHR is an online HR system available for small business with the option to use it for free or through a paying option. Like other HR Systems, the online tools is able to support many HR functions including recruitment tracking of applicants, employee data management, management of data for group insurance coverage, support tasks for employee retention and placement, and employee time off applications.
It’s key advantage is its ability to manage clerical work more efficiently and effectively allowing HRStaff to focus on other strategic plans and actions for the company. CangarooHR is compatible with various payroll systems including Employeur D, Advantage, Nethris, PAYweb.ca, Cytronics and Acomba. Its module for managing group insurance empowers employees to register and update their insurance coverage as well as have visibility on premiums and tax tables. The module allows for a paperless transaction with its e-signature function for required forms.
Its Career Management module supports the company’s employee retention program, while also assisting employee development by helping create a skill plan aligned to the input Org Chart. It also helps with staff replacement in the event of new post openings or attrition.
Its module for performance evaluations supports 3600 feedback, supports paperless evaluations through its online forms, and allows the HR team to customize evaluation tools supporting supervisors in the task of performance evaluation. Meanwhile, CangarooHR’s other product: CangarooChrono, is a software specific for timekeeping to assist with a more accurate payroll process. This software includes features like: Timekeeping, Schedule planning and Management, Schedule Adherence, Time-off and Exceptions Management, and Time Data Entry Functions.
