Fusion Tables is a web application for visualizing data that allows users to share data sets and combine them together to build data visualization online. The application is still experimental and its API has released V2. It allows users to easily create data visuals and publish them online instantly with provided subsets and an easy format similar to online files.

Fusion Tables supports the ability to work through larger data sets including filtering, sorting, summarizing them in collaboration with other users online. Fusion Tables lets users combine multiple tables between users and publicly available data then merge them into one visual representation. While it allows collaboration it also allows users privacy options and permissions. It also supports collaborative work by being able to attribute data sources to originating users. Users can easily import and export data in CSV and KML files to be shared with the working group.

Its visualization features different options from basic tables to complex charts, maps, and polygons. It also allows users to create a map out of location data.Fusion Tables allows users to instantly host data as an API and invite developers to use it. It is able to keep users from using outdated data as latest versions are easily visible. Fusion Tables allows easy sharing and embedding through links and can be saved as a KML file. These links can be used for blog post, web post or sharing via e-mail and other online communication channels while also ensuring data is up to date automatically based on updates posted by users.
