The developers at Imaginatik have created cloud-based, scalable software which can be implemented in organizations of any size to help streamline the innovative process. Imaginatik’s flagship software is Innovation Central, which is meant to cover the “front-end” of innovation. Here business leaders can pose questions and launch challenges to garner ideas from within the organization.

Users are able to add ideas and participate in discussions in response to these challenges or campaigns. Innovation Central incorporates the use of detailed user profiles to help spur discussion, collaboration and refinement. Each user is given a dedicated profile page which includes their areas of knowledge expertise and an idea of their previous activity on the platform known as kudos points.

This allows other users to find subject matter experts in specific fields and ask for their input or evaluation on specific matters. Transparency is key to Innovation Central and not only can users see each other’s profile and activity, but global dashboards make it possible for business leaders to monitor the progress of ideation as well.

With Innovation Central and Discovery Suite helming the “front end” of innovation, Imaginatik’s back end is handled by its Results Engine. It handles not only dashboards and metrics, but also includes project-management and portfolio-tracking. This allows ideas which were developed in Innovation Central and refined in the Discovery Suite to be implemented and tracked in the Results Engine.

Covering everything from developing to vetting, testing and even launching a new product or process, Imaginatik’s combined software suite covers the entire innovation management process. The results engine also provides insight into the status of all ideas and projects in addition to information regarding ROI, which is indispensable to business leaders and decision-makers.
