The program also provides many different aspects of business that can help you take different career paths after graduating. If a student can demonstrate prior mastery of core MBA course, they may get an exemption from that course. This gives you a chance to diversify into more advanced courses or electives. Core courses teach students how to construct and interpret corporate financial reports and also how to use accounting information for internal organizational purposes. Topics covered include probability and statistics, decision models, market behavior, demand, technology, leadership, health care, and marketing. Specialized concentrations also give students options to deepen their educational experience so they can be fully prepared for specific challenges in their future career. While a concentration is not required, you may choose one or two in any major functional or topical area. It’s a way to refine the business and leadership skills you need to capture the hearts, mind, and hands of the whole organization. Concentrations also empower students to master key analytical tools and understand the dynamics of the global economy and markets.
