The Pepperdine Graziadio School’s Full-Time MBA provides students with an immersive educational experience at the magnificent Malibu campus. Pepperdine MBA experience involves a diverse and supportive environment as students come from all over the world. The program is taught by a professional faculty and features small, collaborative classes. To complete the Two-Year Full-Time MBA degree you require 61 credit hours covered in five trimesters that include a business internship. However, students with an undergraduate business degree may get a waiver on certain MBA courses and take electives in their place. MBA students are allowed to personalize their MBA curriculum by selecting a concentrated focus of study in order to complement their academic background and work experience. Students are encouraged to take up to 12 units of electives in this area and cover the remaining units on additional electives outside their particular specialization. These electives, which align with their professional and personal interests, present an opportunity for them to extend their breadth of knowledge. The Pepperdine Full-Time MBA areas of concentration include Digital Innovation and Information Systems, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Dispute Resolution, Leadership and Managing Organizational Change. You will also get a chance to develop professional business skills and earn an MBA course credit through hands-on internship assignments. The program also places emphasis on experiential learning to complement the theory learned in class to ensure students are adequately prepared for the workforce by the time they graduate. There are also study-abroad options that help students gain international business experience in a week-long course or a full trimester abroad. They not only earn credit for the international study engagements but also study at the some of the school’s most prestigious partner universities in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Australia, or Africa. The Pepperdine Full-Time MBA also features accelerated One-Year program and another 15-month program which require fewer unit-requirements. Applicants of these programs should have completed a variety of prerequisite courses within the time of their application and have at least a few years of relevant work experience.
