The New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business’ Full-Time MBA integrates innovative academic theory with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities to develop competent business leaders. The full-time MBA required core consists of the following two courses; Financial Accounting & Reporting, and Statistics & Data Analysis. Students are also required to choose at least five core courses from the following list; Firms & Markets, Foundations of Finance, The Global Economy, Leadership in Organizations, Marketing, Operations Management, and Strategy. After completing their first year, students are advised to participate in a robust campus recruiting program or attend a summer internship in companies throughout the world. In the second year, students can customize the curriculum through electives and specializations. You can select up to three specializations whose electives can be chosen from the available 200+ electives. You can take up to 5 elective courses at other NYU graduate schools. Stern’s MBA students are given numerous opportunities to tackle real world issues in real time through Stern Solutions experiential learning opportunities. Students can participate in a Doing Business In (DBi) course in over 10 locations worldwide, which gives them a chance to use their business skills to solve real world problems across diverse industries. You can also choose to spend a semester studying abroad in a leading overseas graduate business school at one of Stern's 53 exchange partners in 29 different countries. As an MBA student, you can take advantage of personalized leadership development opportunities that will support your growth as a leader who creates value for business and society.
