The Arizona University, Eller College of Management’s full-time MBA program experience focuses on innovation, application, and communication to give graduates the expertise they need to effectively lead in today’s dynamic global marketplace. This program is taught by a world class faculty and features a curriculum that integrates both intellectual rigor and market relevance. The Eller MBA integrates market-centered learning modules, highly tailored elective courses, international and project-based experiences, and leadership development activities throughout its curriculum. The program features a comprehensive first year core experience that equips one with strong analytical and communication skills that prepare you for an internship and other opportunities that let you take your skills to the market as part of your educational experience. The first year sees students take on a core set of rigorous and analytically-oriented business topics including finance, accounting, marketing, economics, operations, management, leadership, and business communications, which are delivered in both individual and team based settings. These core courses act as a comprehensive foundation for the many academic and professional opportunities found in the second year of the program. The school places a significant emphasis on the need of an internship related to your chosen field of study in between the first and second year, which acts as an integral part of your education. The second year experience is about selecting a specific concentration or personalizing the curriculum through electives and advanced consulting projects to build your professional career goals. Electives can be taken as part of a concentration, functional specialization, or as a stand-alone course. Some of the available electives include Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management and Organizations, Management Information systems, and Marketing. The program offers five concentrations which include Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Care Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Marketing. The Eller MBA program also includes a 2-credit global business experience course that uniquely positions you to have access to transformative opportunities in the global business environment.
