Wikipad is a wiki-like notebook for storing your ideas, thoughts, to-do lists, contacts, or anything else you can think to write down. Wikipad’s ease with which you can cross-link your information makes it outstanding from all other notepad applications. To create links in a wiki you only have to type in wiki words where a WikiWord is any mixed case word typed into the editor. Wiki is all about linking your information together quickly. Wikipad is a real-time wiki. By that, it is not a web server, or application server, or groupware solution. Wikipad is like an IDE to your thoughts since software developers have grown accustomed to certain features from their integrated development environment that make their jobs easier with features like auto-completion, outline views, incremental search, easy source code navigation. IDE's that provide these features can greatly increase developer productivity. Wikipads’ possessing this features it tries to address the problem of personal information management which it takes into consideration how you manage all of the random bits of information in your personal and professional life with word documents, text files, Microsoft Outlook notes or if you're an expert user maybe you have a weblog, or a personal database, or possibly an outlining application. Where you can track your wife's favorite food, your bosses kids names, your personal to-do list and much more. Wikipad features include; autosave, URL, and file linking, search and replace, to-do lists, dynamic views, export to HTML, wikiword history, wikitext styling, all your data is stored in plain text, intuitive keybindings, wikiword auto-completion and much more.
