Second is the Web Sessions which provides a fast, reliable way to get the scalability benefits of a stateless Web architecture without overloading users’ database or rewriting users’ application. It gives way to supporting the Java Servlet session standard, Web Sessions works with users’ favorite Web framework, application container, and users’ custom session objects. It is a highly available, scalable and durable way to schedule jobs across multiple nodes. It controls thousands of concurrent job executions from within the application code. Third is the Quartz Scheduler which is an enterprise-grade, commercial product that can be integrated with or used alongside virtually any Java application— from the smallest app to the largest enterprise system—to provide fast, flexible and extremely reliable job execution.
