The globally ranked Rutgers Executive MBA program features a regularly updated curriculum specifically designed to provide you with the theoretical tools, the practical insights, and the vital hands-on skills you need to excel in a challenging business environment. The program is specially designed for the highly motivated professionals who want a high-level executive education to accelerate their personal and professional career growth and development. You will be trained to think on your own feet, to think fast and to be bold enough to make rapid-fire decisions alone, if and when they have to. The Executive MBA program is taught by professors who are not just experts in their fields, but who are also extraordinary communicators in the classroom. In addition, seasoned veterans from industry are invited to teach specialized courses so as to ensure that the REMBA curriculum remains relevant and highly applicable in the industry. Furthermore, Rutgers' prestige, history and international reputation have all been leveraged to give you an MBA program of uncompromising quality. Throughout the 20-month learning experience, the program aims at maintaining a uniquely practical, current, and relevant approach to business education. For this reason, courses are tweaked almost every year. Of importance to note is the program’s unique distinguishing feature: the REMBA Powerhouse Advantage series. The series features a sequence of rigorous stand-alone modules spread throughout the four semesters, with most modules driven by demand from current and former students and their employers. After completing the first year, students take on a 10-day program in China for a unique and invaluable global experience. Participants witness first-hand the energy, complexity and dynamism of the Chinese economy, along with the challenges and opportunities for US business in China. The EMBAs visit manufacturing, supply-chain and marketing operations, medical and pharmaceutical facilities, and attend seminars. In the second year, students take on advanced business courses as well as electives offered by the EMBA program and even those electives outside the EMBA program.
