Chromis POS provides support to multi terminal modes and works with a number of open source database solutions.
Chromis POS provides users with the ability for using a Derby embedded db in its standard form. Users using the multi terminal are enabled by Chromis POS to use a product like MySQL. Chromis POS provides users with an excellent platform also for migration of a multiuser db using built in db.
Chromis POS provides support to a number of features used by small, medium, and large sized businesses. The support is for USB printer. This enables users not to rely on serial ports. Support for Derby, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Supports extensive range of hardware, supports price or weight encoded barcodes that conforms to GS1 standards, and a barcode reader support. Chromis POS is built on powerful scripting language.
The scripting languages provide users with an excellent platform for allowing user customization of the system used in point of sale. Since Chromis POS runs on Windows XP, Vista 7, 8, and 10, it is therefore able to provided support to Java 1.8 applications and also support to Multi sale modes.
