Bixby delivers a smarter way to use your phone, assisting you in completing tasks, telling you what you’re looking at, learning your routine, and remembering what you need to do. Bixby learns how your phone works as well as your apps, like texting a friend, taking a picture, or managing your settings, enabling you to easily operate and interact with content or the apps you have installed. Bixby pulls the most relevant information from different apps, so you can always have the right content ready when you need it, and also accomplish more from a single screen. Bixby goes beyond just voice commands by allowing you to switch modes of interaction seamlessly. You can say a command, type an action, or tap a suggested one, and Bixby will understand it all. Amazingly, Bixby learns how you talk, what you do most, and gets smarter over time making your life simpler. Bixby can be accessed on your mobile phones instantly by pressing and holding on the power button. Bixby leverages on your Camera and Internet to give you a deeper understanding of what you’re looking at. By just tapping on the Vision icon in your viewfinder, Bixby will instantly launch into a mode that identifies landmarks, translates foreign languages, and reads QR codes. Bixby lets you set up reminders based on time, location, and content like a video you want to watch when you get home. To start using Bixby, all you need is a Samsung account for logging in and an internet connection, either Wi-Fi or data network. Bixby’s user interface can be customized or updated. Bixby currently recognizes selected languages but support for more languages is in the pipeline.
