Voyager is the search engine in a box. Voyager finds and uses complex data, no matter where it is. Voyager services global governments and businesses, public utilities, universities, oil and gas companies, and many more enterprises around the world. Discover, extract and index content stored in Amazon S3 using Voyager. Use content stored in S3 as input to execute data processing tasks with Voyager. Deploying Voyager on cloud servers comes standard with both Voyager licenses and is supported for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is the science of teaching computers to understand human interaction. In Voyagers’ latest release, NLP has been incorporated into the off-the-shelf solution, enabling a smarter, more efficient search experience for all of the users.

Voyager works by walking through any file server, database or web content depot it’s pointed to, opening files and depositing their metadata into a Lucene/Solr index. A digital catalog is created of all content and its location. Data become searchable across the enterprise. Administrators can configure the UI and set security standards to meet enterprise policies and users can find the information they need, when they need it. Voyager’s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and entity extraction allow Voyager to make traditionally non-digital documents searchable, providing users with a robust, inclusive search experience. Voyager’s robust, intuitive UI provides a single point of search across the enterprise, giving users the tools they need to configure what goes into the search engine, how it looks, and who can see it.
