The Simon Business School is renowned for its in quantitative, economics-based education founded on tradition and innovation. Its signature Frame, Analyze, and Communicate (FACt) model has been integrated in the curriculum and models you to be a sound decision-maker and empowers you to positively impact any organization. The program’s courses are designed to provide you with the tools to understand, explain, and predict business behaviors, so you can keep pace with today’s global business marketplace. The program maintains a balance between expert instruction and practical hands-on learning experience, and is taught by professors and instructors who are leading thinkers in their fields. During the first year, you study 11 core courses and a communication sequence that form the basis of your MBA experience and give you a general approach to business. The core curriculum highlights all aspects of business including finance and economics, marketing, management, communication, and analysis. You also participate in a consulting project that lasts two terms. In the second year, you are allowed to choose electives that let you customize your curriculum based on your preferred concentration track and also enhance your MBA experience. You also take part in Internships and global study tours that involve some of the world’s most innovative companies. The Simon MBA curriculum also allows you to gain hands-on experience through experiential learning courses such as the brand management workshop, strategy and business consulting practicum, cases in finance, brand strategy, and more. The career center helps students chart their own career through résumé development, mock interviews, and career counseling, giving them a competitive edge in the job market.
