The University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School offers a Full-Time MBA degree program which prepares students to achieve outstanding professional and leadership success. The MBA program’s academic year features two semesters split into 2 modules each. The UNC MBA places a strong emphasis on the case-study method and other small group learning activities. During the first year, students study foundations that prepare them to pursue their educational and career goals. Year one core curriculum consists of 15 required courses and 3 additional core requirements. The first semester provides core business skills that help you develop a deep understanding of key business disciplines. There are other enrichment concentrations provide an additional set of course work to enhance your career concentration. Additional electives cover such areas as Energy, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, and Sustainable Enterprise.Business projects give students opportunities to test their knowledge outside classroom. Independent Study projects also bolster the learning acquired in the classroom and allow students to develop specialized knowledge to further their business and professional acumen. A Leadership Immersion Capstone offers an unique opportunity to synthesize and deepen your mastery of the core leadership principles through intensive application, individualized feedback, and reflection.
