The rigorous EMBA program gives you an opportunity to build your business acumen as you work, alongside accomplished peers and world class faculty. Fundamentally, it changes the way you view the world of business. The program’s curriculum is carefully designed to provide you with strong analytical foundation in the core business areas from a strategic perspective. This program also allows you to customize your experience to achieve your specific personal and professional career goals through 14 electives starting in the third term. Executive MBA students also have an opportunity to take an elective via the Michigan Ross Executive Education program. As an EMBA student you will participate in either a domestic or an international ExecMap - Multidisciplinary Action Project, where you will work in teams to produce valuable results and recommendations for corporate, startup, and nonprofit organizations. The project course spans the entire fourth term and enables you to gain knowledge and insight to manage across units, expand your global business perspective, synthesize diverse viewpoints, and make tough executive decisions. EMBA students also take on a Global Business Environment course which provides students with the concepts, tools, and skill sets necessary to conduct in-depth analysis of the global economic landscape. Leadership development is also an integral to this EMBA program experience and is integrated across the 21-months program. It builds on your existing leadership capabilities and helps you develop the mindset and skill required to lead more effectively in your current role, advance more rapidly in your career and make significant and positive contributions to your company’s culture and performance.
