Tyk

Tyk is an open source API Gateway, that puts you in control of API Management. Tyk offers an API Gateway, simple to use API Management Dashboard, API analytics and developer portal. Tyk can be installed On-Premises, purchased as a Cloud service, or as a Multi-Cloud for the best of both worlds. Deploy to AWS, Google, Azure, Heroku or your own bare metal. Tyk is independent, scalable and runs on commodity hardware and the public cloud.

Tyk is API Management for a Dev Ops and Microservice World - Docker and Kubernetes supported out of the box, plug into your CI/CD pipeline, with Tyk-Git Open source component, or via Jenkins, etc. With Circuit breakers, hard timeouts and load balancing, all designed to integrate your microservices. Use Consul, Etcd, Eureka, etc for service discovery. All the features you need, available out of the box. Set rate limits, request throttling, and auto-renewing request quotas, on a per-api basis, or globally, to manage how your users access your API via the Open Source API Gateway.

For authentication Tyk Open Source API Gateway supports access tokens, HMAC request signing, JSON Web tokens, Mutual TLS, OpenID Connect, basic auth, LDAP, Social OAuth (e.g. GPlus, Twitter, Github) and legacy Basic Authentication providers. Then you can transform your requests: Inject proprietary headers and transform inbound and outbound request data using our simple template and middleware system.
