Swiftype

Swiftype is a cloud-based search platform that provides integrated search solutions for organizations, websites and applications and lets them control of their search experience. Swiftype has an advanced search algorithm that delivers relevant results for even the most complicated queries. Its algorithm features spelling correction, Bigram matching, stemming, synonyms and phrase matching. Swiftype has an autocomplete function that enables users to get the right content without writing the whole query. Swiftype takes a faceted search approach enabling users to refine results based on date, price, author, or content type. Swiftype search contains result-ranking interface that allows you to easily customize search output of specific queries. It has drag-and-drop feature that enables you to re-order search results to your liking. With Swiftype search, you can adjust search relevance by controlling how different attributes impact your search results, for example, according to product rating or popularity. Swiftype runs on a JSON-based REST API, a real-time search API that is easy to use with curl or any language with a JSON parser and HTTP client. It also supports a read-only public API with JSON that allows you to execute cross-domain search request. Swiftype utilizes real-time indexing that lets you index new content automatically or manually re-index specific pages of your website. Swiftype uses a code-free setup to index your site but developers can use API for extra –control. With Swiftytpe, you can create associations between different search terms such that users can be directed to the right content no matter the query. Swiftype offers two different product packages; Site search and Enterprise search. Site search offers all the features described above while Enterprise search offers site search plus added features including; Unlimited access to Swiftype’s Cloud Connector Framework, Multiple levels of security to ensure your data is protected and secure at all times including role and permission based authentication, Custom Enterprise Knowledge Graph (AI Platform) specific to your company’s data sources, employees and relationships.
