Statistical Lab is an explorative and interactive tool designed both to support education in statistics and provide a tool for the simulation and solution of statistical problems. The graphical user interface is designed to make complex statistical relations easy to understand. It connects and displays data frames, frequency tables, random numbers or matrixes in a user-friendly statistical worksheet allowing users to run calculations, conduct analyses and perform multiple simulations and manipulations.
Standard graphs such as histograms, boxplots or scatterplots can easily be drawn using the 'R-Graph Wizard'. Depending on the desired complexity, individual variables can be graphed and provided with additional features such as measures of central tendency. R is completely available inside the Statistical Lab and can be accessed through the 'R-code Wizard'. This interface offers experts flexible possibilities for working on statistical problems. Teachers can easily create complex simulations and interactive experiments in R, that can normally only be programmed as Java-applets.
Statistical Lab software is a statistical tool with an interface that facilitates interaction with the user. Databases can be easily dragged to the desktop within the program with the mouse, or accessed through databases stored in Excel or ASC files. If you intend to use this program only for the educational component, it also provides a random number generation option for creating an experimental database that can serve as a work / study basis. The various databases can be interconnected through this software and integrated. With this capability the data is transferred from one base to another, and analyzed together.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The subsequent analysis, as well as the integration of data is done step-by-step, mainly the more complex operations, thus allowing a better understanding by the students of the methods of analysis. In addition to the simple interface, it is also possible to create graphs such as histograms, bar graphs or scatter diagrams, among others. This will help students to understand statistical phenomena, such as measures of central tendency. It is also possible to access a whole statistical programming code R through this program, and the more advanced users can make the program more flexible.
