Stargarden is a workforce management application that combines five software: Authority Management, Federated Authority Management, Identity and provisioning, and business process management that work together to manage and enhance workflow efficiency.
The authority management tool in the stargarden software is formulated for the effective administration of the council’s workforce in an organization. This tool ensures that information within the Human Resource management is shared accurately and consistently across all the corporate management system. It provides a complete employee profiling from the recruitment stage, career development to termination.
This tool prevents the duplication of information once a user has access to it. With the authority management tool, the organization manages access to the right information at the right time by the right people. Stargarden provides Federated Authority Management (FAM) software that enables an affiliated or independent organization to have access to each other’s networks. The reason why firms would want to use a shared identification data system with other companies is for economic advantages and convenience. For instance, if two firms used one application and shared the cost of its utilization, both companies would save. For FAM to be effective, a mutual trust must be created, so that the institutional structures may work within this framework. The institutional structures are set up in terms of hierarchy, such that information is contained within the right rank for security reasons.
A similar module of FAM is the identity and provisioning software. The only difference between these two is that FAM is for the council’s workforce while identity and provisioning software deals with matters affecting employees such as time and attendance as well as payroll.
Under Business Process Management software, the configurable workflow engine module has components that enhance workflows such as task transition and notifications, the task routing, permissions, user roles and any other element involved in the authorization. With these features, task delegation is easier and reliable in the absence of the management team.
