SimpleHR is a HRIS software that allows you to input and track employee information and performance data for easier data management and reporting. Its downloadable desktop version is licensed with two products: SimpleHR Express and SimpleHR 9, while its web version, SimpleHR Online, is licensed with two editions: Pro and Enterprise.
This tool is ideal for small and medium businesses or a specific segment of large businesses. To get a better idea about its financial benefits or to build a business case, their website also offers an ROI calculator to interested customers. The program itself is easy to use and functions similar to other MS Applications like excel or word. It can also accept imported data from Excel allowing users to easily migrate existing data tables.
It can be integrated with accounting and payroll program’s Ovation and Quickbooks without compromising data. The benefit of such is that information updates like salary increase or change in address is centralized and automatically updated between the two systems removing the need for re-entry.
Its modules cover employee data tracking and progress documentation throughout their lifecycle as an employee. Apart from being a centralized data bank of employee information and performance data it also provides over 50 varied reports on employee performance, demographics, attendance, attrition, company listings and many other important data.
It also features an HR Dashboard that provides a graphical view of different HR Metrics like Employee Satisfaction, Salaries vs Budget , Growth Training Program Participation Rate, Performance Evaluation Completion Rate and other HR-related metrics. Security controls of the program allow the admin to customize access levels per group or user. Usage is also protected through password verification.
