The Fowler EMBA program consists of a talented and diverse body of students who come from different locations and cultures. The program is instructed by an established faculty and inspiring guest speakers who foster a stimulating environment that prepares students to be transformational and inspiring leaders themselves. As a Fowler MBA student, you are bound to acquire business and leadership skills without interrupting your career, explore real issues confronting businesses today through executive level courses, and develop an international business perspective, all learned from a world class faculty. You will also get an opportunity to build an invaluable network of talented and professional associates. Classes meet all-day on Fridays and Saturdays for about for 21months. The program’s curriculum integrates theory and practice, and provides a general management emphasis well-suited to your needs as a mid-career executive. A total of 48 units of coursework are required for the degree. Courses are structured in such a way that subsequent courses build upon the concepts and skills presented in preceding courses. Many course assignments allow you to immediately apply concepts onto situations in your own organization. First year courses help you develop a solid foundation in traditional business disciplines and introduce you to core business principles. Coursework in the second year creates an awareness of the environment in which business operates and provides a comprehensive understanding of organizations as well as strategic context for business decision making. The program also features an International Study program which allows students to gain an understanding of global business practices and acquire direct international experience in foreign countries.
