It can be used to manage large amounts of inventory and supports both discrete manufacturing as well as process manufacturing. The system helps to maintain real time, up to date information regarding inventory and can be used to track tools and manage inventory with relation to assembly line processes. Upstream and downstream data is available at a glance, so companies can analyze trends and draw conclusions about future sales and inventory needs based on the information amassed.
Plex Inventory Management offers genealogy and traceability features that enable administrators to know what’s on hand and available for use at any given moment. Traceability features take into account orders, receipts, what orders are currently in progress and being filled, and what has already been shipped. Plex Inventory Management also helps streamline tasks associated with inventory.
It offers integrated scanning features that can be used to capture incremental data automatically. Plex Inventory Management system helps streamline shipping and receiving tasks by automating invoice creation, printing labels, and keeping a virtual log of what items are where at any given time.
