Personal Knowbase

Personal knowbase (PK) is a free-form note management software. It is a notes organizer that uses keywords. PK is useful in organizing research notes, email archives and tickler files. The keywords are used to index notes messages and ideas. PK has an intuitive interface that is easy to use.

With PK information can be stored and indexed in one place that easy to retrieve using keywords. PK has no limit to the number of notes and the keywords chosen to be indexed. PK has an attachment feature that associates disk files and internet addresses with notes. Use of keywords enables user to find information easily by association because notes can be cross referenced with any keywords one may need.

PK has password protection to protect private information. PK is portable; notes can be carried on USB drive or flashcard and can be accessed on windows PC. PK reader reads files created on PK version 2,3,or 4. With the PK reader it is possible to view, search, export and print know base articles but cannot create or modify or create new ones.

PK also enables for sharing PK data files with friends, co-workers even when they do not have a copy of PK. It is useful for distributing notes to cooperation’s, professors, clubs or mailing lists, help centers and webmasters. PK users commend it as a free form database for keeping up to all the staff needed to learn and know and also for the fact that it can keep as many records of keywords making it convenient. It is also commended for its ability to keep random bits of information.
