The Pace University’s MS in Human Resources Management program prepares students for leadership roles in the human resources industry and also within an organizational setting. Through this program, students can learn to analyze, design, and evaluate human resources systems and processes, as well as integrate those systems and processes with business strategy. The program’s curriculum focuses on three main study areas including organizational behavior, labor relations, and employment law. The MS in Human Resources Management offered under the Lubin School of Business offers Core HRM skills such as recruitment, compensation, assessment, and training for human resource management to further organizational goals. The program also teaches specialized skills to succeed in senior-level appointments which include analysis of the strategic impact of staffing decisions, processes, retention, and staff-flow management. In addition, the program also helps students learn current best practices in identifying sustainable, competitive advantages by adapting human resources strategies and practices, to market fluctuations and shift pressure from competitors. Lubin's MS in Human Resource Management is in line with the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. The guidelines are part of SHRM's Academic Initiative to develop and define HR education standards for the HR courses taught in university business schools and help universities develop degree programs that follow these standards. The program is considered one the best Masters degree programs by EDUNIVERSAL, an organization which ranks the top global business programs in the world. Graduates of this program are also among the top 8% of the highest-paid graduates according to PayScale.com.
