OrientDB works fast and capable of storing 220,000 records per second on most common hardware and supports schema less, full and mixed modes including SQL as one of the query language used. OrientDB provides safety in all confidential data that is present with the use of authentication, password and data-at-rest encryption. OrientDB’s performance is always imporving to ensure increase in better performance as they have recently introduced the fast-resync of nodes. Managing document database are done with speed with OrientDB. With a huge data included, it wouldn’t matter how much data needs to be worked on. Other database graph providers may slow down due to their computing technique when done for every single query is made. With OrientDB, traversing speed is not affected even if working with billions of records.

The Teleporter feature is a new tool from OrientDB that enables users to sync with existing relational databases and be able to fully migrate them to OrientDB’s graph database.
