Open Mind integrates charts and lists into the users’ mind maps straightforwardly and conveniently through entering in the data that the users want to include, and then choose the type of output format they would like such as pie, bar, and horizontal bar charts, as well as line graphs and scatter graphs. Open Mind offers tons of options for bubble shapes, connecting lines and colors which are all easily accessible from the tools and controls laid out around the main viewing window.

Open Mind provides multiple ways to add a new bubble to users’ chart, and each bubble has its own control window where users can add text and adjust other bubble properties and by hovering the users’ mouse at the top of the viewing window and bringing up another set of tools, and extra options available from the drop-down menus at the top of the screen. Open Mind has a simple click and drag system where bubbles can be easily resized and moved using a mouse. Open Mind not only creates professional looking Mind Maps but is also capable of creating any kind of tree structure diagram including brainstorms, flow charts, spider diagrams and organization charts.
