Odoo POS is part of Odoos’s integrated suite of business applications that provides unified data across stores, and has an integrated inventory management platform. Odoo POS has a payment feature that allows for payment methods like cash, checks and credit card payment methods.

New types of payment methods can also be included. This feature allows for split tenders where a single order can be paid as a split payment between multiple parties as well as with separate payment methods. Offline payments are also made possible in that orders can be made offline and are synchronized automatically when one is reconnected. The checkout feature sets customer prices or offer percentage-based discounts on either a single product or an entire order. This feature also has a blazing fast search that helps one quickly find customers and products with the built-in search features.

Parallel orders are also available in this check out feature as multiple orders can be processed at the same time. It also includes a weighting at the counter where the product weight is calculated during checkout with an electronic scale integration. The store management feature has an order history module that lets one view all past orders as well as search by customer, product, cashier, or date.

It also has a cash flows module that monitors cash register adjustments and easily verifies cash contents at the end of the day. It also has stock & inventory which lets one monitor stock in real-tie, manage inventory across all locations and review shipments with the Odoo stock integration.

The customer & loyalty feature includes a module for registering customers where customers are identified by simply registering their email and contact address which allows one to offer discounts and keep track of individual sales. It also enables one to look up customers with the built-in search feature or identify them with a barcode printed on the customers loyalty card.
