McBride Selects Arkieva Supply Chain Software to Strengthen their S&OP and Capacity Planning Processes : McBride, working with Solventure, Arkieva’s channel partner in Europe, has completed the implementation of the Arkieva Sales and Operations Planner (S&OP) and Rough Cut Capacity Planner (RCCP) to manage its supply chain operations.

With 18 manufacturing sites across Europe and Asia, McBride provides exceptional value and performance to global and national retailers and is Europe’s leading provider of private label household and personal care products.

McBride needed to support the implementation of a group – wide S&OP process across their new organization. The main focus was to optimize the asset utilization across Europe and introduce a balanced demand and supply plan for all sites, interfacing with 2 different SAP platforms. The 18-month capacity plan developed by Solventure enables the company to look for the most cost-effective solution to balance the plan. Each S&OP supply manager is now able to follow the same process through the tool, which allows the company to focus on the value added activities and recommend necessary investments to the business beforehand.

“Before, we created our rough cut capacity plan in excel. We were spending most of our time on data transformation and manipulation, leaving little time to focus on the real questions at hand.
