MariaDB provides a fast, robust, and scalable database server with a full grained ecosystem of plugins, storage engines, and several other database tools that enable MariaDB to be versatile for a wide range of uses cases. MariaDB provides an excellent platform for a SQL interface for data accessing as it is developed as an open source and relational database. MariaDB provides an open and vibrant development that is based on decisions from public mailing list and public bug tracker. MariaDB provides efforts required in documentation and distribution packaging. Security of data for databases is provided by MariaDB facilitating release of security announcements and upgrades while handling the pre-secrecy and post-transparency in a proper way. MariaDB provides the CVE identifiers that provide an excellent new security and CVE identifiers. The GIS feature provided by MariaDB provides an excellent platform easy storing of coordinates and querying of location data. The dynamic column support enables allowing of NoSQL type of functionality.
