This program emphasizes more quantitative methods since more employers are increasingly asking for and valuing hard analytical skills. The program’s curriculum, which covers a wide range of finance-related topics, is definitely a perfect fit for anyone wishing to enter or advance their career within the finance industry. MFin students get to learn such topics as financial analysis and valuation, advanced regression techniques, and programming approaches for data analysis, time series analysis and forecasting, use of probability distributions, optimization techniques, modeling of financial and risk variables, simulation techniques, value at risk measurement, and tools for effective risk management. In addition, the program covers advanced managerial accounting course that emphasizes on developing teamwork, written communication, and oral presentation skills, and which focuses on generation and communication of information to assist in financial decision-making.
