Innovator integrates all aspects of business analysis into one tool. There are many BPMN 2.0 extensions that will complete your business processes such as: process map which can be used for describing the structure of the company’s processes and how individual sub-processes have an effect on each other. Because of its visualization organizational and structural evaluation of processes within the users company is enabled.
Users can jump from elements in the process map directly to the corresponding submodels, regardless of whether this is an org chart or a refined process description in BPMN; business process modeling – Innovator can be used for creating process models based on BPMN 2.0 notation and link them with all other elements and it can be used for mapping concept models to an service-oriented architecture.
It uses the model context to make a pre-selection of possible element types, leaving users free to concentrate on the model content; decision modeling with DMN - the decision-making process can be formalized and extracted from the process details, making the process more comprehensible and easier to maintain and Innovator helps users to graphically document the decisions, their dependencies and the decision-makers.
Innovator also ensures the consistency between users DMN and BPMN models, in order of updating process models automatically after making a change to the decision table; textual requirements which means that there are no nasty surprises during the project phases because of the well formulated requirements; activity-based costing helps users to identify which costs occur for a process within the company using activity-based costing etc.
