The Master of Science in Project Management degree offered at the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology provides students with the technical, project management and leadership skills needed for career advancement in the field of project management. The program incorporates innovative academic and experiential learning opportunities that enable students to understand, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate projects, teams and leaders in enterprise environments. The program comprises a total of 36 credit hours. This includes an Agile Lean concentration that requires a total of 4 Agile Lean Courses. Through this concentration students will gain a deep understanding of Agile Lean frameworks used in the project management, software and IT product development domains. The program features traditional and agile project management courses that respond to local and global needs. The courses may be taken purely online or in the Executive Format, which combines both online and in class sessions at the Harrisburg University campus. The Master of Science in Project Management is a quality program, which is accredited by the Global Accreditation Center from the Project Management Institute. Graduates of the program will demonstrate the applied knowledge and technical expertise in the management of projects and teams project to meet stakeholder needs within constraints and aligned with both traditional and agile project management frameworks. They will also be able to demonstrate ethical and culturally-aware professional behavior in stakeholder engagement, communication, leadership, and teamwork.

Demonstrate strategic financial and organizational contextual awareness and insight by linking key stakeholder objectives to sustainable competitive strategies required to deliver value across operational functions using traditional and agile techniques. In addition, the program will prepare you for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
