Freshsales is a free cloud-based CRM system that can track customer behaviour and progress of deals from start to finish. Some of the features include an email tracking system, calendar sync, click to call, tasks & appointments, 360° customer view and in-app tracking. The 360° customer view allows the user to identify customer touchpoints whether it be a website, product, interactions or appointments from a single screen. The free plan also includes a built-in phone system allowing sales teams to make calls, automatically log incoming and outgoing calls, with an option to record and monitor them. The email feature allows you to forward and BCC mail from any mailbox, send mail with a 2-way email sync with access to insightful email analytics. Freshsales visual pipeline gives you an insight to sales and leads across the board so that users can prioritize based on customer engagement patterns, with a simple drag and drop target navigation tool. The software automatically links contacts and accounts with their social and publicly listed information, without having to manually search and enter the contact. Freshsales for Web is available in various coding formats including Javascript, Ruby, Java, PHP and Python. Once installed the various coding formats capture site visitors and group them based on engagement, making it easier to identify and focus on ranking leads by characteristics and behaviour.

The tasks and appointments app gives users the option to schedule appointments with customers, collaborate with team members, make notes against each contact as well as manage and share files. Freshsales software is designed to be easy to setup and use, requiring minimal customization.
