Free Help Desk software functions in such a manner as to enabling IT staff to handle help desk calls in a structured manner which is countable every time a call is answered. All calls answered are entered into the software's database immediately for record purposes. Other IT staff can rely on this in future to offer solutions easily to similar problems. The software instils confidence in other staff that when a call is placed on your help desk in will be handled in structured manner leading to customer satisfaction. Free HelpDesk provides report which can be customized according to the users needs.It also improves the quality of service of a business with ultimately happy customers. The requirements for installation of Free HelpDesk is PHP and MySQL with a license of GPL. Notes can be added to ticket to provide additional information about the problem. A staff has the right to lock a ticket when it has been assigned to avoid another staff working on the same ticket.
