The Fordham University’s Gabelli Scholol of Business Executive MBA is designed for mid-range professionals who are looking to take more leadership responsibilities. To be enrolled in Fordham Executive MBA (EMBA) program, applicants must have at least 7 years of work experience. Students are given a chance to choose from two locations: Lincoln Center and Westchester, which campus they want to learn the program from. For the Lincoln Center location, the program starts in September of every year. As for the Westchester location, the program starts in January of every year. Typical classes meet on three consecutive days, one weekend per month. Together with fellow students and faculty, you will hold discussions on current ethical issues in business. The Fordham EMBA comprises core courses and concentration courses in management systems, and also allows students to take on courses outside their concentrations. Executive MBA students proceed through all of these courses together during their 22 months in the program. The program incorporates experience-based, team-oriented projects throughout the Fordham MBA experience. As a Fordham Executive MBA student, you will complete a full concentration in management systems and also take on two electives. You will also tackle additional courses in finance and business communication. Each 22-month Executive MBA experience concludes with an international capstone trip, the culmination of an in-depth, consulting-style business project. The students in the Executive MBA cohort collaborate to choose the country they'll focus on, and the business problem their consulting work will solve. In addition to presenting their project on site, the students will benefit from cultural events and lectures on how to do business within their country of choice.
