F4analyse supports the interpretation of qualitative data on Windows, Mac & Linux since 2012. It is very easy for one to learn and supports data analysis in the context of grounded theory, qualitative text analysis, documentary method and many other interpretive methods.

Users can import all their texts into the program and start reading and analyzing. F4analyse helps users to structure their material, to clearly organize findings, to find exciting passages and to export a clear overview of their findings. Record notes in memos for text passages or write comments for texts and codes.

Memos are visible similarly to a messenger chat and comments are displayed in the field below the text or code. This is where a user can note case summaries, code definitions or interpretations. Codes allow users to structure their texts and memos. Whether developed inductively or deductively, the coding system is organized clearly and hierarchically. Users can choose from 24 different colors for their codes. Coded passages are underlined with the respective color in the text.

The software can display specific quotations from selected texts and codes. This allows a user to break down text passages into different sub-codes and to read, condense and compare statements from individuals or groups. Its lexical search function allows for a quick displaying and auto coding search results and their context. The code distribution table displays the frequency of codes per text.

The assigned quotes can be displayed with one click and so you can easily compare cases and topics. It allows users to use their Windows, Mac, Linux PC or your iPad and Android when travelling. The versions are always compatible. Data are saved in open XML format and can easily be exported to Word, Excel, MAQDA and SPSS.Its new view helps to evaluate motives, interpretations and condensations. Memos, comments or quotations belonging to a code or text are clearly arranged and can be condensed in the comment field below.
