EasyReg is an open source software that conducts several testing tasks and econometric estimation on all Windows platforms that use 32 and 64 bit form and also the Windows 7. Users using Windows 8 are also able to use EasyReg by only setting EasyReg compatibility mode to Windows XP.
EasyReg is programmed to be able to work in Visual Basic 5 and also Visual Basic 5 Enterprise Edition. EasyReg is configured to be used in teaching econometrics and empirical research. The software is referred to as international because it is able to accept commas and dots as delimiters in decimal form regardless of Window’s local number setting. The software EasyReg is able to work under non-English versions of windows.
EasyReg contains features that enable users interact with EasyReg more easily. The EasyReg menu contains modules which conduct input, output, data analysis, single equation models, multiple equations models, user defined nonlinear model and miscellaneous modules.
The user defined nonlinear models in the menu feature contains all the tasks that are econometric from the initial menu items that a user can be to count simply by pointing and clicking. The file feature contains current data, get data and how to get data. The how to get data feature enables users with no prior knowledge to open the guided tour to their starting time.
EasyReg explains to users step by step on how importation of data in EasyReg. The help feature provides answers to most of the questions which always stand out when a user start using EasyReg especially to users who are having their fast experience with EasyReg. The level feature provides users with knowledge on how to set econometrics level.
