Download analyzer is web log analysis software specialized in the analysis of downloaded audio, video, graphic files etc. It creates special reports on downloads, search phrases and words, has large range of filters and interactive reports which allows qualitative analyses of a site for the purpose of optimizing the site for search engines, enables increase of the availability, quantity of downloads and most important it provides targeted traffic.

This software has special tool like Pay-Per- Click Calculator which can calculate the return on advertising costs for individual search phrases on paid search engines (google.com for example). It also provides a relevant analysis and can calculate: relevance of search phrases in aim of finding and subsequent downloading of files; total relevance of groups of phrases or individual pages of a site; click tax and average profit from individual phrases; total profit for individual pages, groups of search phrases etc.

In the report on search phrases filters are available on pages, search engines and on a substring included in a search phrase and also available on the minimum quantity of downloads and hits. This software has the ability to parse large data which is great if a log is exceeding 1 gigabyte so this way precise statistics can be obtained and the relevance of rare search phrases can be determined.

The download report contains the information of complete downloads – number of downloads of each file; download hits – number of site visitors who are downloading the file; traffic download – downloads quantity measured by total traffic divided by file size; total traffic on each file.

Each downloaded file has an additional report with refer page- the sites from which visitors come to a specific site and do a download and download pages the sites from which the file was directly downloaded.
