Distribution Engine

Distribution engine is a native Salesforce app that makes lead routing easy. It has many features such as: round robin, weighting and capping, working hours, monitoring and analytics, easy setup, salesforce lead routing, native, alerts and assign any object.

Round robin is a feature which helps users and sales teams to stay motivated and successful. It hands out leads in a circle so everyone knows about lead allocation. Next feature weighting and capping allows users the lead volumes assigned with the team to be adjusted and capping allows setting limits on how many leads are assigned. There are two types of capps – hourly or daily cap where members can limit how many leads are assigned per hour or day and load balanced cap where users can limit how many “active” leads can be held by reps.

Distribution Engine has a number of features to control the availability of team members such as distribution hours, regional holydays, user out of office and online toggle. Distribution Engine can be set to assign leads 24 hours a day, or it can be set to match the working hours of the team and allows absences such as public holiday, vacations etc to be managed.

Using Distribution Console users can see how many assignments have been made by each team, drill down into the logs and with analytics how many leads team members have been receiving day by day can be seen. Also based on many attributes such as language, experience skills Distribution Engine allows routing using Distribution tags feature. It provides security because the app runs within users Salesforce org on servers, no one can’t access to customer data, configuration or any other assets. It also has alerts – flags for reminding of deadlines and can be used to assign any object.
