The DePaul University’s MBA program empowers you with relevant skills and ideas that you can use immediately to solve real-world challenges. The program gives you the right foundation of business complete with the advantage of practical knowledge. At DePaul, you join a tight-knit community of thought leaders who help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in any management role and beyond. The DePaul MBA is designed for entry-level career professionals who intend to obtain the analytical skills and tools needed to launch or advance their careers. This is made possible by the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business whose faculty features prominent scholars and business professionals. These instructors bring a unique blend of relevant knowledge, industry experience, research achievements and academic rigor to the classroom. Courses for the 18-month program are delivered during the day, from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays set for other professional development programs. Core Courses may be waived if the student has previously completed equivalent coursework with a grade of C or better. The interpretation, evaluation and final decision of course waivers are the prerogative of the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Students also have the option to pursue multiple concentrations. In addition to the required core courses, students can tailor their program based on their specific career goals through a total of seven required electives. Two of the required electives will be dedicated to a Vincentian service project. The five remaining electives can be in a specific career track or concentration that offers the knowledge and skills that best fit a student’s career goals and interests. Kellstadt alumni are allowed to return as non-degree seeking students to add additional concentrations to their transcripts. The Kellstadt School maintains powerful connections with local and global companies, including Motorola, Northern Trust and PricewaterhouseCoopers, which provide opportunities for students in terms of internships, consulting projects, and job placements.
