The high performance playback engine offered by DaVinci Resolve makes editing and trimming incredibly fast. The powerful organisation tools provided by the professional editing feature enable users to create metadata based Smart Bins that auto populate, and allow adding markers with new on-screen annotations and more.
The transition and effects offered in the professional editing feature enable users to quickly add changes and filters from the built-in library, use 2D or 3D title templates or add 3rd party plug-ins. The fusion effects allow users to create a cinematic feature film quality visual effects without having to switch software applications.
The tracking and stabilization tool allows using of 3D and planar trackers to track, match move and stabilize anything. It also enables users to match camera movement with the camera tracker. The fusion effects facilitate creation of amazing animated 2D and 3D titles with extrusion, reflections, and shadows. DaVinci Resolve also offers the follower tool that promotes animating individual characters.
The spline based animation tool allows using linear, Bezier and b-spline curves to create key frame animation that can be looped, reversed, ping-ponged, stretched and squished.
