Built on a platform of Plan-Do-Check-Act, Dakota's Waste Management Software helps organizations manage the complex logistics and recordkeeping associated with solid and hazardous waste. This flexible and configurable application allows corporate managers to create and maintain individual profiles for waste type, authorized transporters, and authorized disposal facilities.
Through the use of permission-based tools, facility managers can choose from these lists of corporate approved profiles to organize waste shipments and track manifests to closure. As with all of Dakota’s solutions, alerts and notifications prompt action at the points of control and dashboard reports provide corporate and facility managers with the information they need to ensure ongoing compliance.
Dakota Waste management software is used by managers and supervisors to schedule waste transportation and storage, plan its disposal, and implement strategies to recycle or reuse materials. It also helps employees perform their duties in an efficient and safe manner. The software also includes comprehensive reporting that can be used to demonstrate an organization’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals and regulatory compliance.
Leveraging Dakota's Regulatory Library and mapped to user-specific profiles, Dakota’s Compliance Calendars help reign in the chaos of EHS compliance. Compliance tasks link to related citations, audits, and incidents and provide roll-up visibility into global compliance status. By streamlining and simplifying the waste management process for the entire enterprise through one central system, companies can comply effectively with hazardous waste regulations that govern its generation, handling, transportation, and disposal. They can also reach “zero waste to landfill” targets that are part of sustainability initiatives.
