Dairy One is Internet-based software that can help users organize all crop information in an easily accessible, centralized location. Internet or web-based means one can run the software from any location where there is a high-speed Internet connection, and it means users are always running the most current version. Soil, manure, and plant tissue analyses are available to assist producers and their advisors to make sound economic and environmental decisions. Increasing governmental regulations have made it imperative that producers make informed decisions regarding their growing and fertilization practices. Plant tissue analysis can be a valuable crop management tool. Alone, it can be used for making “in season” fertilizer recommendations for certain crops, such as tree fruits and grapes. For other crops, plant tissue analysis in combination with soil test information can be helpful when troubleshooting or diagnosing nutrient deficiencies and determining fertilizer requirements. Dairy One holds data in confidence. Results will only be released to parties named on the original sample information sheet, submittal documentation or through the phone app. There are many reports to choose from. They can be filtered or altered to meet specific needs. Customized reports can also be created to meet the management style of the operation and to help users fine-tune their crop management system. Reports and graphs can be printed or e-mailed automatically on any schedule you wish (hours, days, weeks, months). Import planting date, variety, and average seeding rate back into Fields and Crops from the 20/20 screen. Transfers total yield for each field into Fields and Crops Manager. If dry matter or moisture values are available, this information will also get transferred.
