Therefore, radiologists can easily get case sensitive information, a summary of case descriptions, and distribution of patterns in their case and similar cases. Radiologists can also reference cases, articles and publications and mark interesting regions in the image and get similar cases.

This is based on the selected region of interest the system is able to provide links to relevant reference cases from a user’s favorite reference database (e.g. Radiopedia, EuroRad, RadiologyAssistent, etc), having them only one click away. contextflow’s technology partners also have the opportunity to unlock the potential of large medical image data through the contextflow search system which is a next generation visual search technology based on deep learning that improves reporting speed and diagnostic quality.

Technology partners can also use it for lean integration of existing viewers. Its lightweight client can easily be integrated as plugin for existing image viewers. To trigger a search users only need information about the marked region of interest and the image data. After local processing of the information its WebApp opens in the browser and presents the user similar cases from our reference database, as well as links to publicly available reference sites.
