Web Application Firewall

Web Application Firewall detects, deletes and obstruct incoming harmful wares produced by the number of movements taking place in a network. Web Application Firewall enables users to secure their networks against virus or spyware that could destabilize the ability of the network to perform efficiently. The system was solely created to work with apps or browsers that are connected to the World Wide Web. In a case where an unauthorised user tries to collect or move a data from the server, the Web Application Firewall would sense it sending a notification of incoming threats to the users authorised to access the server, giving them options on how they can deal with the threat. The Web Application Firewall could function as hardware or software is, it can be implemented in a device or installed in an operating system. The Web Application Firewall was created in such a unique way that it does not only detect cyber-attack on the site address or IP port, but it also goes as deep as checking the web traffic and code used in designing the site for potential threats that might be harmful to a web application. When scanning for potential threats the Web Application Firewall makes use of the blacklist which contains files that might have malicious spyware. The application was designed to ignore the whitelist which has a low probability of containing infected applications or virus.
