The executive MBA offered by the Boston University’s Questrom School of Business is designed for a mid-career executive who wants to fill in the gaps in their business knowledge and develop skills at the senior leadership level. Students benefit from the experience and expertise of a world class faculty who collaborate to provide a unique, integrated curriculum. You’ll also learn alongside students who have perspectives that span industries and countries, which will broaden both your outlook and professional network. The study will focus on the challenges and problems senior leaders face rather than studying each discipline one by one. As a Boston executive MBA student, you’ll enjoy a high-impact learning environment that engages you through case studies, classroom discussions, strategic workouts, team projects, visioning exercises, simulations. For the first year, on-campus class weekends occur once every three weeks. Synchronous virtual sessions are interspersed on select Tuesday evenings throughout the first three modules to reinforce and deepen your weekend learning. Questrom’s EMBA curriculum is built on systems, not on discrete disciplines. The program’s curriculum enables you to understand and analyze business systems in their global context and gives you the tools to excel in every field. It is structured to help you develop a combination of analytic and decision making skills as well as strategic problem solving and leadership skills needed to drive positive impact in your organization. You will learn how to diagnose and frame issues, locate the right tools and concepts to address them, and then act to resolve them. The curriculum components are delivered over a period of 18 months and feature four highly integrated modules, four topical residence weeks, and international field seminar. Through a global perspective course and an international field seminar in the second year, you will put your learned knowledge into action and experience firsthand the way global business is conducted.
