Blazegraph is a powerful graph database that offers flexibility in all linked data. Its scalable and high performance database supports the Blueprints and RDF/SPARQL APIs. Blazegraph can work on billions of edges on single machine and has high availability and scale out architecture. Blazegraph deployment mode offers three different features that can match a particular need of the user. The Single Server and Embedded deployment mode supports RDF/SPARQL and Apache TinkerPop APIs. It can support up to 50 billion edges using fast disk I/O with large CPU cores and generous amount of RAM.

Blazegraph’s High Availability deployment mode uses shared-nothing architecture. This is where each node have its own replica of data and that node would only synchronize when there is a commit which works best to increase the number of concurrent queries. Apache Zookeeper is a self-healing feature that enables automatic failover and resync if disconnected. On the other hand, the GPU Accelerated Graph Analytics is a plug in for Blazegraph providing single GPU graph analytics by using Java API. Blazegraph GPU supports RDF and SPARQL query acceleration with the help of Java APIs. Other features of Blazegraph are high-performance native graph database, unlimited clustered data storage and Highly Available Replication Cluster. Graph database has been proven to provide a great help for enterprises in managing their data without consuming huge amount of storage. Blazegraph’s release of the latest Database 2.1.1 has been one of the most powerful and reliable when it comes to understanding and synchronizing nodes and edges that will help establish connections with either names or entity for query purposes.
