The program degree integrates mathematics, economics and accounting with the theories and applications of finance. The program’s curriculum is infused with technology that gives graduates a competitive edge in the job market. The degree can be learned as a 10-course program that can be completed in 9 to 15 months or as a 12-course STEM-designated quantitative program that has more of a mathematical and capital markets focus and can be completed in 15 to 20 months. Students with no prior financial education and experience are required to take up to four pre-program foundation finance courses along with courses in economics, statistics, and accounting. Full-time students complete the degree in around 10 months while part-time students can take up to 18 months to cover the entire program, studying through online and evening classes. Students are required to study 10 core courses covering corporate finance, quantitative finance, financial management, and quantitative analysis, and some few other finance-related areas. McCallum Graduate School of Business is regarded as one of leading global centers for financial services training and learning as students work with real and up to date tools and technology in order to master financial principles and practices in trading. This makes the students to be well prepared for the job market.
